The numbers of the rooms were not on the corresponding doors, room 410 & 411 were very confusing to locate the rooms, if all numbers were on the doors as well as the wall to the rooms, it would rate the hotel higher. It should be done ASAP.

Very nice accommodation with good cooking facilities, was able to cook own meals for dinner. Perfect little property/apartment for a short stay. The whole hotel was very sleek and of high quality. Staff at front desk were not very warm and welcoming but got the job done. Underground parking (not included in booking fee) I think it was $15 per night, very easy to access.

The deco is such a nice place to stay, staff are so friendly but also really professional and work with purpose and meaning which is very rare these days. Each time I’ve stayed at the DECO it has been that next level kind of experience that not many other places could come close to matching in the Canberra area. Overall the Deco is definitely somewhere I’d recommend staying if you’re coming to Canberra to stay and I’d be very surprised if you weren’t very satisfied afterwards. Very clean and all round very nice and friendly environment.

Lovely stay at the Deco, reception and house keeping were extra friendly and helpful. One bedder had everything I needed to feel straight away at home, full kitchen not like your typical hotel room. Strong shower pressure. Nice view of sunrise in mornings, great for privacy and not far from everything in town. Will stay again thanks guys!

A note about the electric car onsite charger: log onto the hotel wifi before use. There isn't reception on your phone in the carpark.

We booked an executive king suite and yet we got a queen size bed. didn’t bother to complain since we are only staying one night and we are too tired from driving. wifi is shared with public, no specific guest wifi. But overall, our room is clean, comfortable bed, convenient location and friendly staff.

Nice place, technology needs work
Nice little hotel, fairly central (but Canberra is hardly a meglopolis, so that's a kinda fuzzy concept). Parking is included, could be a little tight in a bigger vehicle, though. Staff were all very pleasant. Only issue is with the room controls - the backlighting on the thermostat and switches is blindingly bright. The thermostat one comes on brightly every few minutes as it checks fo room occupancy, very annoying. Also, while trying to turn off the 'Do Not Disturb' sign and light up the 'Please Make Up My Room', I could find no intuitive way to make that happen. In short, the switches are unnecessarily bright, and unnecessarily complicated. I work with robotics and controls on a daily basis - the controls don't need to be this much of a Rube Goldberg machine! The remote for the TV had only one function working - to turn the TV on. Not off, or anything else, just on. Had to physically remove the TV from its bracket to cycle the power to kill it. I know these are minor things in most peoples' lives, but it took the edge off what would have been a very nice stay otherwise.

The guy on the front desk wasn’t to friendly. Told me I had to pay for parking. When I told him I had stayed here on multiple occasions without having to pay, he looked up my previous bookings. I had been working all day so hadn’t shaved & looked a bit of a mess. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Should treat everyone the same, not this bloke.

The hotel was well maintained and very comfortable. The restaurant is nice downstairs The choice of breakfast buffet is healthy, only thing that there is no other restaurants near by, but overall we really enjoyed our stay.
