It's extremely good value for money - it's old university forms which are definitely showing their age, but if you're just needing a place to sleep this is perfect. Shared bathrooms are very clean and toiletries are provided in the bathroom (pump soap, shampoo, etc). A towel and face washer are provided in your room. The beds are very comfortable. Free parking on site.
My only complaint would be they seem to deactivate the room keys around 9am despite check out not being until 10am. I was caught out on my first visit when I went for a shower at 9:30am and couldn't get back in the room (needed to head down to reception who were helpful in reactivating the room key for me), this time I overheard a few people in the hallway locked out of their rooms at 9am. I have never encountered a hotel that disables room keys before check out.
The area around the property isn't anything particularly special, the light rail runs past so if you're using public transport it's convenient. There's always share scooters parked at the doors and Ubers quite often sit in the carpark and wait so you'll get a ride super quick.
