"We arrived for a two day stay and Mike could not of been more welcoming or helpful, he even moved his car so our scooters could have hard standing to park on, the room was amazing with a separate lounge area and spotlessly clean, the bed was huge and very comfortable, plenty of hot water for a shower and an abundance of tea/coffee on the tray. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it with Joycelyn at hand to accommodate all the requests and top of up with tea. We had a very relaxing, chilled out...

"The owners were absolutely lovely and the room was charming. I had to contact them a couple times during my stay while I was out and about town, and they responded right away and were very helpful. I felt incredibly welcomed and would stay with them again in a heartbeat."

"Booked as my surprise 30th get away, partner had organised with the hotel to decorate the room and it was so lovely to walk in to. Host was very friendly and the place was very clean. Breakfast was good and plenty of it if you wanted it, the only thing it could have benefited from was some bacon for my hangover on the Saturday morning haha. " I tend to stay in holiday inn or a Premier Inn. When Im away with work. But Top Joes was recommended to me, so i took a look online and thought lets give it s go as it wasnt to far away from where i was working I have to say, i wasnt disappointed. Food, service, room i could not fault, friendly staff a full package. I will stay here again when working in the area "

"The staff were very welcoming at this hotel. The room was nice and big but there was a strange doorway up some steps to our room in an annex. Parking was very tight so you have to be a confident parker and access to the car park is along a road at the back of the hotel. The restaurant meals were fantastic - super quality, so much so that we didn't venture elsewhere for our evening meals. For me they were 10/10. Breakfast was ok - for some reason it didn't come above ok compared to the evening...

"Fine for my one night stay. A little bit dated but reasonably near to the town centre and with its own parking. Nice breakfast including vegan options. Very friendly staff. I can’t comment on the bar and restaurant as they were unavailable due to a large private party but the hotel warned me in advance and, at my request, suggested nearby places to eat one of which I used. "
