"Very nice place, with good food. But very expensive, particularly by Bhutanese standards. There's another place with a fantastic view directly overlooking the Punakha Zhong that is included in the package tour prices, so you don't have to pay extra. "

"Our room was HUGE and came with a kitchen (including a fridge and microwave) which was a wonderful surprise! It also had a great view. The only problem was, it was cold in the room with no way to adjust the temperature. We called the front desk for help and they weren't able to adjust it either, so they were kind enough to bring a large space heater. It was a good solution till we moved the space heater from the living room to the bedroom, which caused the power to shut down for the whole room....

"Great location and about 15 mins walk to the town center. We booked the Heritage rooms which had an old world charm with great views. The service was excellent and the staff extremely hospitable. Overall, a really good stay. "

"The hospitality is excellent. The staff are polite and cooperative and make you feel at home. The food was delicious. Infact every item we ordered was very tasty. Hats off to the chef. Well managed and clean property. The GM of the resort has a wonderful personality as well as kind helpful too. Will definitely visit again and recommend this place to others. "The hotel was beautiful, an old colonial atmosphere in a very comfortable setting, with great views of Kalimpong. Staff were very attentive and the Indian food in the restaurant was excellent. "Its location in downtown would be of value to tourists. The staff are well mannered and helpful. The restaurant is multi cuisine. However, this hotel is not good for business travelers. Their Internet service is poor. Their internet access log in screen does not appear always. One has to manually access the log in screen by typing the IP address. Their system logs you out frequently. So you have to log in again and again. Often the system will give a message saying your internet limit is...
