The staff that checked us in and out was very friendly and courteous. The rooms need a little TLC.. especially the carpet and the shower (it was difficult to turn on/off and as a result leaked)

The AC never cooled the room off. I don't know if it was just our room but it definitely needs to be updated and repaired.

OK, there are no nice hotels in Wharton - this is it. This one is not the Ritz Carlton either unfortunately. It is dirty and more like a 2-3 start hotel. The rooms are relatively modern but stains on the carpet, dings in the furniture etc. This is a huge hotel for roughnecks passing through and they are hard on the place. If you have to stay in Wharton, this is your best bet. If you can, keep going and stay in Rosenberg - few better places in El Campo. This place is decent at best and certiainly not worth the cost.

We had some issues with check in, the computer system messed up our entire reservation and other family members of ours reservations. The woman at the front desk was AWESOME though, she handled everything very very well plus she works multiple jobs so I commend her on everything that she did for us plus how hard she works! However I would definitely take in to consideration how the computer system screwed everything up and how they really need to look into getting new bathtubs and fixing and painting the walls and doors in the rooms due to the fact that they look a little horror movie-isk. Other than those things our stay was great!

This hotel was clean, comfortable, perfectly located and the service was awesome. My only complaint was that my shower would not get hot. The faucet water was hot but my shower was unfortunately not.

We stayed overnight to attend some baseball playoff games. The hotel was near the fields and restaurants and stores were nearby and easy to get to. The room was very comfortable and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was good.

Overall an alright stay. Pool, weightroom, close to stores. Good breakfast with friendly staff. However, there was no water available onsite, the juice machine was out of order, and after the first day, there was no food available in the pantry (cold items).
