The hotel was pretty good. A very old, historic hotel with a bathroom down the hall. I had not realized that when I booked but it was fine and I had a sink in my room. Room was a bit hot even though it was cool outside. I did not want the window open because I had a little dog and there were no screens on the window.
Desk person was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend updating the TV situation. TV was ok but I had 2 remotes. One to set it up and another to change channels. I followed the instruction sheet they provided and could not get it to work. I finally had the desk person come up and set it up for me and I did not turn it off until I checked out, to make sure I would not have any more troubles with it. TV channels were very limited. I wanted to watch the usual ABC, CBS, NBC etc.. and could not get it on the TV. I had a migraine Sunday and wanted to relax and watch football but FOX was not provided.
Saturday night a domestic dispute broke out and since there is no overnight staff, it went on for quite some time. I tried calling the hotel and got no answer. I gave it another 30 minutes to call police and it turned out the manager had been called and brought the police. Not the hotels fault though and the manager did address it when called. I would stay again given the room temp and tv were the only issues the hotel could control.
