"From the moment we arrived the staff were warm and welcoming, they showed us around the hotel and stored away our luggage ready for check in later, as we were off out. When we went to our room, we was pleasantly surprised with the facilities and everything was spotless. We dined in the hotel and and the food was exceptional. "Every thing was great all but not being able to have a swim, we were informed when we inquired about if we could swim ,and that we would have to book a swim and there was no availability for a swim, which was a shame as this was the only reason we booked here in the first place, looked a lovely pool "

"We booked a double room.but when we arrived they had let our room out and gave us a twin room so i complained and they added free breskfast & drinks so we were fine . The room was large The beds were made into a double & was large & comfortable, room had iron & iron board , safe , fan , good tea tray & a seating area . "We can recommend this hotel unreservedly. Staff went out of their way to help us with our problems and make us comfortable. We first had to change our reservation due to the train strike and Joey took care of that, next we wanted twin instead of double beds and Emily took care of that. Everytime we asked for help they were able to do something. The hotel is very conveniently located in the high street, clean and welcoming. Food in the bar is excellent."

"Comfy and spacious room even though it was on the 3rd floor, with no lift. Good exercise for one with mobility issues! Lovely views of the meadows from the room, easy to bird watch. Swan nesting nearby was an added attraction. An improvement could be made to the continental breakfast, not up to Premier Inn standards"

"The propert was lovely, our room was modern and up to date. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and clean! The bathroom was so lovely and clean. I loved that you didnt have to go through the pub to get to the rooms although there was a walkway into the pub at the bottom of the steps if you wished too. Staff were friendly and very helpful. "

"This hotel is very conveniently located in the centre of Chlemsford and it is only a short walk to the mainline train station, which has excellent and frequent Greater Anglia train services to London. The hotel staff, especially the reception ladies, are very friendly and pleasant, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast buffet has now been replaced by a freshly cooked to order offering, for which you need to allow extra time. My only gribble was the breakfast coffee was tepid."
