"Me and a friend stayed here for the night for my 40th birthday. We were greeted by Amelia who was fantastic, very friendly and accommodating. Our stay was lovely the location perfect and generally the staff were great. There was a very abrupt gentleman at front office in the morning but everyone else including the house keeping ladies were great. We had a treatment there and this was great too :) thank you "

"Very nice room in a good setting overlooking countryside. The staff were extremely helpful with nothing too much trouble and very polite. Very clean hotel and well looked after. One issue was that the restaurant was quite expensive with a starter plus main course for 2 of us and a glass of wine costing c. £100 in total, although this did include a 12.5% service charge at the end of the bill which was discretionary and I didn’t notice until after I had paid. "Check-in was easy, had a free parking lot, the room was spacious, comfortable bed, but oldn tacky greenish wall paper."

"Fantastic location, friendly staff, lovely room. No water in the room and as it is located in a separate building from the bar I believe this is essential. Room keys are reset overnight so you have to go back to reception to get back into your room. Restaurant is very busy so you must book in advance. Service at dinner was a bit chaotic with no segregation of duties. However every staff member was very friendly and helpful."
