The staff is wonderful. The resort is beautiful. Our favorite place to relax was at the saltwater pool. The food in the restaurant was excellent - they received a James Beard award in 2024z. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The resort is quiet, very quiet. Walk to the beach, walk to downtown shops and restaurant. Or, you can do what we did - mostly we soaked up the unbelievable ocean views visible throughout the resort, and lounged. We spent a lot of time sunning and relaxing. Can hardly wait until our next visit!

La Casa Que Canta exceeded all our expectations! If you’re seeking a tranquil escape with exceptional service, this is the perfect destination. The staff, from reception to housekeeping, restaurant, and pool attendants, are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make your stay unforgettable. Nestled near La Ropa Beach, it’s just a short and easy walk to the shore. Both pools are impeccably maintained, and the on-site restaurant offers delicious, reasonably priced meals. Loved La Casa Que Canta…stayed there based on traveller reviews. BEST THINGS: natural beauty of the hotel and property, quiet, infinity pool is really special, check in was easy, and the view is spectacular! FEW IMPROVEMENTS: bed was on hard side, cocktail selection and bartender’s knowledge for making yummy drinks was lacking, food was good but we expected it to be on a higher level.

We loved our 4 night stay at this 5 star hotel! We went in early October and unfortunately, we didnt realize that since it's the off season some restaurants don't open up. This did, however, mean that we were one of the only couples at the hotel, which was nice. Playa la Ropa is about a 6 min walk down some steps next to the hotel. There are a few restaurants along the beach there which was great. We also walked about 20 or so minutes into the town area on the North. There's one steep area that we walked everyday but other than that this location is absolutely beautiful. We plan on coming back.
