Location is do so bad, one hour from train station, 1.4 hour from another train station, only one bus line take you out, taxi is hard to find, need to pay extra to reserve a taxi.

Absolutely Fabulous!

It was a great experience. Fabulous linen, nice rooms, I liked the electric switches for everything by my beside, curtains, roller blinds etc... then the warmed toilet seats oh la la la... I loved it... absolutely loved it!

A hidden gem

This was an absolutely amazing hotel. An out of the way retreat with friendly staff, great facilities, and an air of luxury. My girlfriend and I don't speak much Chinese, but the staff were very accomodating, helpful, and patient with us. The private hot springs (at an extra cost) were definitely worth paying for. This hotel would be perfect for a romantic get away or a weekend break for the family. Will definitely be back sometime!

You want relaxing ?

I don't usually write reviews unless I am seriously hacked off or pleasantly pleased. Zhengzhou is a traffic jam, I usually stay at the Yuda, always good but traffic congestion has its price. From the train station East to Mercure is about 45 minutes mainly highway. You arrive in a small suburb very clean and tidy. The hotel was almost empty so maybe no so good for their business but peaceful for the guest. Banquet dinner is great if you are hungry. All the staff were lovely. It is a property I would definitely stay at again and even have a holiday there .. wow I cannot believe I am writing this but as a very jaded business traveler Mercure just made me feel good.
