"I have stayed at the Esplanade several times over the years. It changes little but always seems fresh. I noticed they have dropped the door keys with the large tassels for tap keys. Shame but it will not stop me stayong again! This is a top European elegance hotel. Rooms are large. I was recognised and upgraded. It has a lovely terrace and memorablr breakfast. I look forward to my next stay. "

"I booked this hotel as it was one of the only hotels in Zagreb with a pool (and pretty much the only one with an outdoor pool) for an anniversary treat on the last night of our holiday. The hotel is outside of the centre but I was willing to be further out with the idea that we’d spend a few hours by the pool. "Great location and well appointed rooms. Close to the bus station which we had to use. The front desk staff were very helpful and eager to help. We dined in the hotels restaurant and were pleasantly surprised how good the food was and how reasonably priced. I would stay there again. Robert"

"My husband and I stayed three nights at the Westin. Overall the stay was good but we were first surprised by the big deposit they asked us to pay at check in as this was not communicated before by the property. When we first walked into the room we noticed stains and dirt on the bed sheet, not something you would expect from a chain like the Westin, however we asked them to change the sheets and they did right away. The hotel is at close proximity to all attractions in the city."

"Close to Zagreb station. Facilities. Good staff. The only thing we didn’t like was that the pillows were new and too deep, but that should not be a permanent problem. Everything else was perfect."

"Clean, well-furnished and perfect location one block from Ban Jelacic square. Very comfortable. Contactless check in was very efficient. Parking a little tricky - garage a few blocks away is very expensive. Dining and nightlife options are unlimited, but late night noise was an issue on the weekend. Maybe that's hard to avoid in such a central location. Overall we really enjoyed our stay."
