What a dream property and location. This hotel is rich with charm and history ... and it's in a great location, surrounded by historic buildings and close to the town center, with lots of shopping and dining options. Bed was comfortable and room nicely decorated. I hope to return some day.

The history , the art gallery and the personal touch was unique! However the breakfast was variuos But the bread could be improved! The crossaints was not well baked! A mistake which Will not be repeted I guess!

Amazing Hotel and an Amazing Area (Unamazing Room)

Everything is wonderful about this hotel, except the room. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even loaned us an ac adapter to charge our phones until we bought one. The hotel fits the area perfectly and is very close to everything. It was beautiful. Be sure to stop by the tavern next door and the ferry to Bornholm was extremely fun too. However, the room is tiny and quite stuffy with a bad odor from the bathroom that we could never find nor eliminate. The shower was the smallest that I've ever used, but that was somewhat charming. The bed was uncomfortable too. Having said that, I recommend staying here as part of the Ystad experience (which is incredible).

Atmosphere, atmosphere!

Very cozy and personal - completely different from the big chains. Old-fashioned but comfortable. Friendly staff and a fantastic back yard!

This property has so many potential but it is just basic. Making sure the towels of previous guests have all been collected can not be that hard (we found hanged in the bathroom the big towel of the previous guests). Washing every few weeks the decorarive pillows is also not thay hard to organise. Hair in the bathtub were not not a pleasant surprise.
