"Reception were great , no fridge was a problem , breakfasts were good food in the evening not so much burgers dry and buns not toasted as stated for what you charge not worth it , properly why the restaurant was empty"

"Lovely clean room with excellent shower room with toiletries. Huge TV! Fridge and kettle with tea and coffee all very welcome. The room was slightly on the small side with access to one of the twin beds a bit of a squeeze! But beds were comfortable.Check in was super quick and friendly. The breakfast area was modern and spacious and the breakfast choices were extensive and excellent. All in all this was exactly what we wanted in an excellent and convenient area for exploring the fabulous city of York. Would happily book again."

"The Hotel Staff are very friendly, kind and helpful and welcoming. The staff also in the Restaurant are helpful friendly kind and welcoming. The Hotel is extremely clean and well maintained. The its next to river so you get a lovely view either from a room or outside. Definitely be going there again soon"

Burn Hall Hotel

"Our room was tucked away at the end of a corridor even though the hotel wasn't full. The bathroom/toilet smelt of urine and we had to close the door in order for the smell to be contained. I informed the receptionist on leaving and no apology was made just an 'Okay'. The whole place is indeed of refurbishment. However, the staff were friendly and the breakfast choice adequate."

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel was quiet (despite this, I'm a very light sleeper and forgot my earplugs, but the staff were able to give me a replacement pair), room was in full working order, clean and fresh. Shower was excellent and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was tasty too. It was my second stay at this hotel, and I would come back again."
