We enjoyed a great stay here. The pool is amazing, the rooms stylish and well appointed with excellent turndown service. The property during day and night has a wonderful ambience, and we really enjoyed walking through the many paths. My wife and I felt very pampered by the end of our stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Plataran Hotel in Yogyakarta and felt that I received excellent value for my money. My room was comfortable, well maintained, and provided everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the variety of dining options available. Guests can order dinner from three different restaurants, which made it convenient to enjoy a meal without having to leave the hotel. I also liked that I could pay when the food was delivered to my room. The breakfast, which was included with my room, offered a good selection and was another highlight of my stay. The hotel’s amenities were excellent, and the staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout my visit. I also found it very convenient that the hotel provides a shuttle service to Borobudur, making it easier to visit one of the area’s main attractions. I would also have liked to try Enam Langit by Plataran, but unfortunately, it was not open during my stay. Hopefully, I will have the opportunity to visit and dine there next time. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Plataran Hotel in Yogyakarta and would be happy to stay there again.

Just a nice retreat from the city and worth exploring the surroundings on foot or bike. Staff service was attentive and helpful, enjoyed the meals and quiet ambience, not to mention the walk around the property. Rooms are good size, clean and quiet. Comfortable stay.

We liked the Colonial architecture, and the size of our rooms was very spacious. Great views of the rice fields, its lush greenery landscapes. The meals were delicious, especially the breakfast buffet. Nice variety for us. Also the staff were very welcoming and it had a cozy atmosphere throughout the hotel.

Simply amazing!

The hotel is conveniently near the Borobudur temple and well served by amazing restaurants such as The Stupa and Patio Colonial. The room we had was spacious and comfortable, and we look forward to the daily afternoon sweet treats. But what really made us so impressed was the faithful service of the staff. We will miss this lovely hotel!

Exceptional hotel

An amazing hotel with the best service we’ve had in Indonesia. Beautiful rooms and outside areas. The staff have been very well trained and we particularly thought Bemo in the restaurant was exceptional. However all the staff were very attentive. We couldn’t fault anything.

Excellence from start to finish. This resort has an old school classiness that is hard to find these days. The level of service is outstanding. One of the best resort breakfasts we've had with a wide variety of choices from Western to Asian to Indonesian. Special thanks to Executive Assistant Manager, Angga Ramadhan, for his gracious hospitality during our visit. We will always fondly remember our stay at Plataran Heritage Borobudur Hotel.

It’s colonial design however a modern garbage bins in the room/ washroom strictly need to be touch less for hygienic reason. Here all bins is traditional design with lids on manual open/ close. i believe hygiene should be uphold over theme design. Restaurant food could be improved on taste and cleanliness. There are a lot of flies and small insect in one of the food tray ( the bean sprout )

Plataran Heritage Borobudur is a beautiful and elegant property that combines classic charm with warm Indonesian hospitality. The architecture, stylish lobby, and refined interiors create a sophisticated atmosphere with a timeless, almost French-inspired feel. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink, and throughout our stay the staff were exceptionally friendly, smiling, and accommodating. Their genuine hospitality was one of the highlights of our visit. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with fresh fruit waiting for us on the table and a small balcony overlooking palm trees and the surrounding mountains. The complimentary afternoon tea was a lovely touch, offering a generous selection of food and beverages. The hotel also provides a complimentary shuttle to Borobudur Temple, making it very convenient to visit this iconic landmark. We enjoyed dining at Stupa Restaurant, where the food was good, the service excellent, and the staff professional and courteous. While there were a few housekeeping details that did not fully meet our expectations for a five-star property, we greatly appreciated how professionally and sincerely the management team handled our feedback. Their commitment to guest satisfaction left a positive impression on us. Overall, Plataran Heritage Borobudur is a wonderful hotel with beautiful surroundings, elegant accommodations, thoughtful amenities, and outstanding service. We would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the Borobudur area.
