Best hotel in all of Armenia in every way

The finest hotel in all of Armenia. The service is always 5 star. As odd as it may be to say, one of my favorite hotels in the world despite not being a tourist destination of any sort. The finest cheesecake on the planet. Truly, beyond words. Restaurant on top is like 2-star Michelin quality. Fine food, white table cloths and above all, PIANO PLAYER for breakfast. Breathtaking experiences there every time.

Bad Customer Service

Hotel Service Staff are not very hospitable. Not the kind of service standards you would expect from a brand that associates themselves with Luxury / 5 Stars. Never once were we greeted at the reception. We were also under pressure to be out of the hotel before check out time of 12 noon. Housekeeping was already knocking on our door at 11am to ask if we were ready to leave. Overall quite an unpleasant experience as we came to this hotel with very high expectations.

I am beyond satisfied with everything, the room, staff, restaurant. The only complaint I have is with the spa, specifically manicure service I had. Girl had attitude she cut the cuticles the way they started bleeding, no apologies offered, and charges were not reasonable. I was actually so confused and shocked that didn’t stay for pedicure and did not clarify why I was overcharged … they were very surprised seeing that I gave minimum tip( which I even regret tipping at all) when I got back to room and checked price list I did not find the price they charged me (47.000 drams). That was a big disappointment. But the hotel and the staff were the absolute best. So definitely recommend the hotel, just don’t go to spa!
