"I have stayed in ALOT of hotels as we travel a lot, this was my first time ever staying in Madison Wisconsin and at a Baymont hotel, I got in late as flight delays always happen, the man who checked me in was polite, did look a tad sloppy with stains on his shirt, I didn’t think much of it as I know things can happen at work. Nervous habit I always check for bugs in every hotel room, I seen zero evidence of any bugs! The bed was actually comfortable, the next day housekeeping had arrived to clean my room as a stay over, A STAY OVER, I repeat that because I have worked in hotels, stayed in hotels and normally they make you leave the room so they can clean. This lady didn’t, and this lady was phenomenal, I have never seen sheets changed, floors mopped and vacuumed, tub and toilet scrubbed on a stay over. I was thoroughly impressed and tipped her. If I am ever in Madison again I will consider staying again. Thank you for the great experience."
"My wife and I booked the Arabian Nights themed room for our 10th anniversary because it looked like a fun room. When we arrived at the hotel, TK greeted us very warmly and actually offered to show us 3 total themed rooms, including the one we originally chose, that were available for the same time frame and all the same price or a few bucks less. After touring all 3 rooms, we ended up choosing the Jungle Safari room, and it was the right choice. It was a really fun themed room. The best part of it was the hot tub that actually had the water coming from the "rock" wall, so it kind of imitated a jungle waterfall. The only con for me (being 6ft tall) was that I had to duck in a couple places in the room, but that wasn't much more than a minor inconvenience. There was even a second TV on a ledge above the hot tub.
It is an older hotel, so don't expect everything to be perfect, but there were no problems with anything in the room or the parts of the hotel that we encountered. It's all up to date and kept very clean and tidy.
Breakfast was awesome, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage links, a good selection of breakfast drinks... I don't know what the rest of the breakfast was, but there were more options as well.
Overall, I'd rate our trip at 9-9.5/10."
"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our kids loved the playing in the pool. The view of the sunset was amazing. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. Would definitely book this place again if we go back to the area."
"We loved our stay at Spring Valley Inn! Everything was immaculately clean, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area, and the bonfire in the event was a treat! I also enjoyed birdwatching while eating breakfast in the lounge area. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend 100%!"
