Personal at the front desk is very helpful with checkin proces or ordering a taxi to the Airport at a specific time. Also Looking up for flight details. Superb service. Especially when I’m not familiar with Chinese language.

We had an unpleasant experience at check-in as the wrong room type was assigned to us and staff was unaware of Expedia VIP program, but this was subsequently resolved. Clean and modern facilities, a bit far from downtown Xiamen, very helpful concierge staff, very big room.

My only "complaint" is that during my stay members of the China Football National Team held an event at the hotel and for a few days it felt like an armed encampment. It was understandable but off putting nonetheless.
