"I cannot say enough of this small jewel in Xalapa. Great boutique hotel . Great staff! Safe area to walk and exercise. Amazing food! Just one minor drawback is the pillows, a little bit too hard for my taste, but don’t forget to ask for a change. This is not a hotel for people with wheelchairs, since there is a lot of steps."

"Our room was spacious and clean. Being right above the edge of Parque Tecajetes, we looked right into the trees. The staff and food at the hotel restaurant, Sal y Piedra, were both excellent. We would stay there again."

"I found this hotel via Instagram. The hotel looked gorgeous. I stayed for 3 nights. The hotel interior is gorgeous. The service at the restaurant is amazing. Now the actual room is where it lost me. The rooms were advertised as having a hair dryer, that is not true. My room did not have one. The towls had actual holes on them. My AC was broken and I had to ask for more blankets. One of room lights was broken and would glitch. The rooms are NOT sound proof. If theres an event, you will hear it. My bed covers had stains. The walls were in need of some paint. Overall, I will never stay here. The only nice thing about it was the plants outside."
