"The room was exceptionally spacious and full of character. Many hotels are a bit soulless but this is far from the case here. The staff were professional, friendly and always with a smile. I've seen a few reviews have commented on 'hidden charges' - breakfast isn't included but this is clear from the very start and there's no pressure to eat here in the morning. If you do, however, the food is excellent (we had dinner) and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"A lovely little find, perfectly located for a trip on The Broads, or sitting watching the boats and wildlife. Great sized rooms. Excellent choice of breakfast freshly cooked. Enjoyed a couple of evening meals on site. Staff go above a beyond and are icing on the cake at this lovely old hotel. "

"It's the people (for me) that make a place. Don't get me wrong, the location, and Caistor Hall itself are both great, but the service we received made this an exceptional experience. We felt right at home, it's posh but without airs & graces, perfect. Michelle was just lovely, so friendly and helpful, knew the property, it's history, and spoke very highly of the owners (important that the leadership of a place like Caistor Hall is right). "Room great - good view of the river Bure and boats..swans a swimming ! Good signal for internet and bathroom clean ( no mold ) good fan quality toiletries quality towels and warm - Great. Cannot fault it at all. Restaurant excellent quality of food and cooking good. I ate in the restaurant in the evening and had the Venison which was not overcooked - just right and the breakfast was diverse and plentiful - cannot fault at all Excellent welcoming staff from check in to leaving. I will stay again...
