"The hotel’s public rooms maintain a faded charm of times long gone, but the bedrooms and bathrooms are modern, well equipped and functional. The setting overlooking the coast could not be bettered - and enjoying it whilst tucking into an excellent buffet breakfast was great. We will definitely return."

"The room was cosy, nicely decorated, a good size, and with a large and comfortable bed; it would have cost two or three times as much in a hotel - and that's without the generous and tasty cooked breakfast (there are other options on the menu) which - like the excellent WiFi - is included. Parking space is for 2, maybe 3 cars (depending how the others park!), but free...

"We booked two rooms while walking the coast path. Neither room had a working shower. Both produced boiling hot water that would burn.All we were offered was the use of another shower in an outside building. We declined. Tired building and the Manager uninterested in offering any support or refund. He just told us the rooms were due to be updated! My advice..Go somewhere else. "
