They even found out it was my birthday during our stay and went out of their way to deliver a bottle of champagne to the room. You cannot beat the location and the cleanliness is a 10/10. "Unfortunately, my friends and I had to switch rooms during our stay. For over £300 a night, we did not have the best views, with some balconies facing a wall. We moved because our original room felt very cramped, and we were given a disabled room where the sink was hanging off the wall due to someone leaning on it. We also didn't have an iron provided initially; it took three days of asking before we received one. After using it for some ironing, we had room service, but the iron was taken...

"These little apartments are clean, bright and right next to the large citadel. The breakfast delivered every morning was a great variety and nice to enjoy in the privacy of your room. It is very quiet and walkable to everything. Parking is a public spot a few hundred yards away, but is reasonable, just expect to walk down streets with your luggage over rough cobblestone and pavement."

"Room 24 is dark (very small window, no view) and next to a staff access area so the door was constantly slamming which was very annoying during the day, but otherwise it’s a lovely hotel - centrally located, wonderful staff and delicious food. "

"We loved the eclectic decor and the garden. We had a bedroom with an attached lounge. Unfortunately due to water damage we could not use the lounge.This did impact our stay with reduced space. The owners were apologetic but their misfortune affected our stay with the use of space. The breakfast and location were great.
