Great room, good in-room facilities. Great bathroom and kitchen area. Bed is v comfortable, nice to have a huge TV with Sky. Wi-Fi doesn’t work properly that’s my only negative. It drops out every 5 mins which is an issue if you are trying to work. 5 stars if you get the WiFi fixed.

The room was not clean, there was dirty tissues left in the drawer and underwear under the bed. The bathroom window was also broken and had no privacy curtains, and there was nowhere to plug the TV in so it was unusable. Check in was straightforward.

Great room let down by noise

Great value for money. Lovely room with great facilities and incredibly comfortable. Room let down by the noise. Single glazed windows and no noise proofing. Bar noise to go to sleep and seagulls at sunrise. Such a shame as the room was great.

Overall, the room was good, clean and comfortable so no qualms there although some more mugs or cups for water, spoons etc would be nice. The carpet up to the bathroom was dirty but the bathroom was modern and clean. The cooking smell from downstairs was very offputting but overall a decent stay and in a perfect location.👌

Good location, rooms with character

Great location near the Cathedral and plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. Reasonably straightforward to check in, although the lighting at the entrance and in the stairwell could be improved - I needed to use my phone torch. The room was great and had a lot of character with a modern bathroom. One minor suggestion - they should change their brand of shampoo. My hair has never felt so gross and greasy after washing and drying! But it was a convenient and comfortable stay.

Great price. Good location. Clean place. Quiet rooms. The only thing i didn't like was the check in information wasn't clear enough in advance. there was no one to speak to when I arrived and just check my e-mail to see their phone number or anything to contact them and found out that i just received an email telling how to enter the building. That e-mail should be in advance for clear instruction.

Wouldn’t recommend unfortunately. Very noisy.

The room was nice however the carpets were dirty stained and the stairways dirty. However the most disappointing part was the noise. This is right opposite a very noisy pub and the windows are single glazed. The noise went on until after 2am. I ended up sleeping with my AirPods on noise cancelling mode. The shower room also offers little privacy with no blind and only privacy glass on the bottom half. We were on the top floor however there were windows opposite so people in these could have seen us showering.

The room itself was fine, clean and decorated to a high standard. Kettle with tea making facilities. Coffee machine with no instructions - we had to find the manual online. Free wifi wasn't available and TV didn't work as it needed a different remote. There was no information in the room and no-one to contact. We had paid for breakfast but no information about when and where to get it. Leaflet in room for Bar-22 next door so we asked there. Got up for breakfast at 8am only to discover it wasn't served until 9am. The room was OK, but with no wifi, no TV, no information about anything, and no customer service, we found this a seriously disappointing stay

Lovely stay at Riize Boutique Hotel

Lovely room, well situated in a vibrant area, decent shower, tea/coffee in the room. We were in room 15 overlooking the garden of the cocktail bar downstairs, with the window close we could not hear any noise, the soundproofing was great. A lot of effort has gone into the rooms if they are all this good. There is a lighting problem in the communal area as you come down the stairs but we have torches on our phones so it wasn't an issue. We'd happily stay here again.

When we arrived the room was fine on further inspection it turned out that the TV wasn't connected to the Internet which took me ages to work out using time I could of used exploring, the room could use a lick of paint it's quiet tired looking and a hand rail would of been handy for getting into and out of the shower also the stairs upto the room are quite steep but other than that it's OK and convenient for the local attractions.
