"Have stayed at this location multiple times, with each and every occasion being absolutely wonderful! The staff are so lovely and the rooms are always in impeccable condition with a wide variety of ammenities that I still keep being pleasantly surprised by. I always reccommend Totara Lodge when friends and family mention wanting to find lodging near Wellington and have yet to hear any bad reviews from them either!"

"Booked a 2 bedroom apartment. Everything was fine at first until the little critters came out. To find we had rubbish bins behind our bedroom. At least 4 bins. Gross. "We had a wonderful stay! The room was absolutely beautiful, spacious, and spotlessly clean. We especially loved having a separate lounge/living area, which made our stay feel extra comfortable and relaxing.
The pool, spa, and sauna were all exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and beautifully organized. It was the perfect place to unwind after a busy day.

"This might be the prettiest place I ever stayed at. The scenery is spectacular. The hotel is just perfect. It's a beautiful country-house with exceptional food and the service is great. A++. I strongly recommend this. We did the horse and ATV tour and it's a must do. Fly into Wellington and rent a car to see the beautiful scenery on the 2 hr drive. I would love to return."

"On the info it said "Park in front..." we had to park behind our rooms.
It would have been easier if there was a second step leading into the room off the footpath.
