Spacious room with most everything we needed for a quick overnight stay along our journey. Despite this being an older hotel we found the space very clean, the beds comfortable and the shower great.

Good spot by the waterfront of petone. Easy parking even for larger vehicles. Lots of dining and shops within walking distance. Room little tired but good place to stay

Energy Restorer after 3-day Walk

This was an overnight stay at the end of walking the Tora Coastal walk, before a long drive back to Hamilton. The room was comfortable and very clean. Good supply of crockery, etc., and unit had everything we needed to cook breakfast. Nice view across the road to the harbour.

Overnighter for ferry

Good place to overnight for frrry especially if need parking for larger vehicles. Walls a bit on the thin side but everything is clean tidy and friendly.

Great spot with Food and bars close by. Supermarket handy and the Warehouse for anything else required. Train station about 5-10 minute walk. A walk down the beach in the evening or morning is a great way to relax. The room is basic but has everything that you need. I stay again as the location was great for going to sports or a concert in Wellington and not having to worry about parking.

it wasn’t horrible but definitely wasn’t worth what I payed the shower pressure wasn’t great and the head was up to my shoulders. They tend to walk in your room randomly. Which is annoying.

The motor lodge was unclean, dirty windows, dirty and worn carpet, filthy staircase and skirtings. My room - windows had mould on them, only wall plug to use was on a wall across from bed. Terrible wifi - kept disconnecting. The shower had shampoo and conditioner, but the shampoo bottle was nearly empty, and for body wash - it was only a tiny bar of soap. Will never stay here again.
