The entire hotel smells like marijuana! The carpet are a 100 years old filthy dirty! The rooms smells horrible what ever cleaning supplies they are using needs to be change! The parking lot was ok and the theme park was awesome but the hotel especially building 29! Please dont stay there with young kids!

Room was okay to start with. However, we were on the first floor and the noise above us was unbelievably loud. Bathroom roof started leaking from the guests upstairs and left a large pool of water on our bathroom floor. Staff was courteous and upgraded us to a third floor room with bunk beds. After that the stay was fantastic, no noise, clean room, lots of room for the family. Was a couple minute walk across the street to the theme park and water park. Overall was a very enjoyable stay.

The rooms were clean and all the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. The only downside is the walls are extremely thin and we were woken up due to the noise in the hallway from other guest.

They put you in a motel that is so badly taken care of. For example, our floors were FILTHY, there was DRIED pee on the toilet seat (on the lid, not the bowl itself), the AC was blowing some type of material that looked like cigarette ash on the bottom bunk bed - wiping it was like you were swiping off cigarette ash. Not sure what it was but I'm willing to bet it's from horrible maintenance. Other than that, all staff we interacted with were extremely helpful and nice and deserve a raise. Both the water park and theme parks were amazing.

Staying at hotel Rome was nice for closer parking and walking to park with young kids other than that, not impressed. Got a room with three queen beds but other than that it had two wooden chairs and one wooden bar. There was no where sit for more than two people. No couch, no table, no Kleenexes, no coffee pot. Not very clean which made me want to keep things off the floor which was very difficult with the amount of furniture. Check in was confusing and not clear that it was a mile away from the room. Room was not ready by 4pm even though I requested early check in Months in advanced. Lobby/arcade was extremely hot and only 1/3 of indoor water park was open. The first night there hours said water park open until 7pm, we got there at 5:30pm and they changed it to 6pm while my son was standing in line and they wouldn’t let him go bc they were closing soon. We had fun despite all of this because the park was cool and had unique attractions and once field trips left for the day lines were not bad.

Nice enough room. I enjoyed staying at Hotel Rome over the other site. Our bracelets won't work to get in and out of bldg and rooms. They gave us cards instead. Indoor Waterpark was not open, that truly sucked. It was a good vacation. Those issues really aren't a deterent. We will probably be back.

The water park and go karts are what saved our stay here. We stayed in the hotel area of the properties. Our initial room had a broken window, the window did not lock., the room was dirty. We requested a new room, and we were put in another room. This room was cleaner, but was right next to laundry for the hotel and where the employees would collect the laundry tubs. This area was extremely loud at all hours, you heard every employee slamming doors, talking, pushing these laundry tubs through the doors etc. overall the hotel is old, run down, and needs updating. It was dirty, I would not stay here again.

This is definitely a 3 star resort, but it's a good one. The buildings are dated but they were clean and recently remodeled. The staff at the check in were kind and helpful. People stay here for the park which definitely makes the stay worthwhile. You will not find another place in the Dells where you can spend so much time without spending additional money. One can easily spend multiple days at the water/theme park and keep entertained. Additionally, the hotels buildings are close to all the action in the Dells. If you want an affordable stay with tons of entertainment for the kids, this place fits the bill.
