Rang and got through to an English speaking person who cycled down to us to show us in and let us park the motorcycle in the locked garage. Great food that night in the main hotel where we were supposed to go for check in. This needs to be explained on the booking as it is only around the corner but if you don’t know, you don’t know. "It is a lovely hotel with all its spa facilities. Room was very comfortable. Staff very helpful. However, it does not have a central bar area where you can just relax with a drink. I will stay there again next week but I will be looking for another option in the Friesland area."

"friendly staff; unfortunately, the garage to park our bikes was completely full so we had to leave our bikes outside; clean large room with comfortable beds; fantastic breakfast with large variety of food; lovely outdoor setting to have dinner when weather allows; very central and close to centre of town"

"Good location, very good rooms with incl. breakfast, great value and a great restaurant with local food at modest prices which was a real bonus. Whether using this hotel as a base for local exploration or as an overnight stop this is a real find. "

Das Zimmer war gut und Sauber, ich hatte allerdings einen recht üblen Kanalgeruch im Zimmer. Dies führt leider zu einer etwas schlechteren Bewertung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. "

"This place was a beautiful hotel with a great restaurant and super friendly staff. Room was big and beautiful and when i asked to be moved to the first floor for easy access for me and my bike they happily obliged. All around lovely place would highly recommend. "
