"For the price, this had everything we wanted - access to a well equipped gym, sauna and steam room, king bed and decent breakfast. Staff weren’t overly helpful / customer service wasn’t great overall but in terms of facilities - the room was good, bed was comfy and the breakfast we added was good. "Stayed at Oddfellows for a couple of nights in December. The hotel has a lovely quirky vibe which liked, rooms were clean and the staff were really helpful. Would stay again if visiting Chester. "

"We just spent one night in Chester to visit the rows which is a reputation of the city. The hotel itself a bit far from downtown which takes about 20 minutes by walk. The room is a bit small with no view. There is no an elevator and the stairs is quite narrow. Pros are good breakfast, free car parking, and big bed. "

"Great food at breakfast with a good choice. Excellent meal and reasonably priced at Nelson’s with very attentive staff. Rooms very clean, lovely bathroom products available and well stocked tea/coffee tray with hot chocolate and shortbread biscuits. Spa area great, good sized pool. Hot tub, sauna and steam room. All staff were very pleasant from reception, spa and dining room staff. A brilliant stay."
