"The room was clean except the carpet was in need of cleaning. My white socks were dirty from minimal walking. The bathroom was clean however there was mold on the ceiling and the shower curtain was in need of changing. The beds were comfortable, the lobby was spotless and the staff were all friendly. Valet was $45 a day. Staff gave parking options that included street parking, close self parking or valet. They didn't pressure me for any option, they just provided information and options."
"The breakfast is outstanding. The kitchen staff are friendly, helpful, and always cleaning up after messy guests .
The rooms are impressive and clean. The walk in shower is awesome.
Parking is ample and free.
The location is the best! No need to drive around town."
"The Hotel itself is above average, the staff is professional, efficient and friendly. In their lobby is a very cool replica civil war canon. Overall good experience with the hotel. The attached restaurant however is another story entirely as multiple staff struggled with the basics. Do yourself a favor and dine elsewhere."
"The room was small & the bathroom amenities were lacking.
The smell of weed permeated the premises.
Free breakfast was adequate but the coffee was horrible.
The parking was not plentiful. I came back late in the evening & there was actually 1 spot left. It was down a hill & as a older single woman I felt very unsafe"
"We got there earlier and I understand early check ins are not guaranteed, no problem. We were told that no rooms were available and she couldn't check anyone in until 4pm. Further they are not allowed to do early check-ins. Went back at 3:30 to see if any rooms were available, and was told no again (really all available rooms are instantly clean at 4pm?) ... but okay so we wait again. 10 minutes later she was checking in people, note it wasn't 4pm yet. Just frustrating since we needed to get ready for a wedding. I did get in the line at that point and got our room. Also note the evaluators were slow with a couple not working"
"Telephone to front desk not working. Tried to call report issue with TV so I had to walk to front desk. Motel shares parking lot with a restaurant/night club and parking was bad. Tried to find way to back parking lot but decided to stay in front parking lot because it looked a little safer. Loud music and car engine revving all night from the restaurant/night club which unfortunately for me was a Saturday night with the night club going late into the night. People playing loud music in the parking lot. I took photo to write a review of the parking issues and club issues. There was a police situation in parking lot for unknown reason about 11:45pm. People walking the balcony walkway outside my room all hours of the night and morning. At least there was an armed security guard patrol and walking the property."
