Small spa area which was a nice treat after a days cycling! Our room was on the small side but it was perfectly fine for a short stay (and the bathroom was big!) Would recommend! "

"The hotel is fine, it struck me as a kind of an upmarket Premier Inn. Location is good although the Marina restaurants tend to the the Nandos/Pizza Hut/Zizzi end of the market, if you want anything nicer you will need to go into Brighton. The breakfast was expensive for what you got quality wise. It was OK for a night's stay."

"Here’s a polished version that keeps it honest but reads more smoothly: Stayed one night in a family room with my two teenage sons. The room had one double and two single beds, with tea and coffee provided. We had a lovely sea view, which was a real highlight. The room was clean, with fresh towels and bed linen. There was a fan in the room, but it was still quite hot during the day and overnight due to the weather. On the positive side, the staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was...

"This is an okay place to stay while visiting St Leonard’s and Hastings. It seems to be a family-run place and full breakfast is provided and is good.Quick walk to the train and to the beach and laundromat. Some improvements have been made to the property which are cosmetic and actually quite silly. There was an attempt to make this old hotel look opulent while neglecting things like upgraded beds and bedding, soundproofing rooms, replacing broken window seals and fresh paint on the exterior....

"We had a clean room, and unobstructed view of the sea, the room had no housekeeping daily, the first and last day we had a buffet breakfast, the second day it would appear that we had to order either with the cook or reception but we were not told of this, the third day the chef took our breakfast order."
