You are not allowed to control the thermostat in the room. We were told the entire hotel is on one system and the thermostat is locked. You cannot switch between AC and Heat. You can lower and raise the temp in the room, but it didn’t work in ours. Room got as hot as 80 in the middle of the night.

Oceanfront view was great. Had your own access to a parking spot. Didn't have to leave property to eat. Less than 100 feet to beach access and boardwalk.

A true classic!
This was a magnificent experience. Took my with and daughters for a quick birthday getaway and although the beach was a bit cold and windy, the hotel was a great place to spend our time with a classy throwback Jersey vibe. AND the staff were great!! We will be back!

Fantastic location
Nice hotel with a great location. We walked the beach and little pier without issues. The kids loved the pool although it was certainly not heated as advertised. We didn't eat at the restaurant bc it was pricey. The staff were fantastic, parking was easy, room was clean and my daughter appreciated the day bed rather than the normal pull out couch. The only negative was the mattresses were soo hard. We would stay again.

The staff were very friendly. I loved that the location was blocks from the boardwalk making it easy to get to but far enough away that it wasn’t too noisy. The room was clean and the balcony had a great view of the beach. The only con was that the bathroom was very small. There was only a pedestal sink which left no counter space to get ready. We adjusted.

The staff were attentive, friendly, and very personable. It was nice talking to them in the mornings always with a smile and extremely helpful. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys a friendly family atmosphere. The attached restaurant has a great breakfast too.

Pleasantly surprised with the hotel. It was clean and staff was super helpful and friendly. It is an older hotel but they have upgraded and it was nice. We would definitely go back.

It was a nor’ Easter so the wind howling from the balcony door all night was horrible.. and the ac unit was loud also, but the service was above and beyond! The front desk was so accommodating and nice! I really appreciated them.

Property was clean. Staff friendly. Nice pool area and access to beach. On site restaurant was good for breakfast, although some items on menu not available. Only complaint is the lack of ice machines. There were 2. Both located in musty smelling, creepy basement

The pool was beautiful with many lounge chairs and the entire property was clean, The restaurant on the premises was excellent with friendly staff. We encountered a few issues upon check-in but staff resolved them. Being handicapped, elevator access is important to me but the set-up of the elevators there is not the best but we made do, No ice machines on the guest floors and you had to go down to the basement to get ice. Most of the staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall I would rate this property 3-1/2 out of 5. I would return again but request in advance certain things specific to my needs.
