"The Hilton Garden Inn is the Diamond in the rough. The Shorefront is lovely and in much better condition since our last visit. We go here about once a year for concerts at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion that is about a 10 minute walk away. Camden can be a rough neighborhood but we’ve never felt unsafe. The aquarium, Rutgers and other attractions are close by and the hotel and staff agave always been great to us. "

"We booked this spot last-minute during an unexpected overnight layover in Philly and were so glad we did. The location in Old City was perfect—super walkable and felt very safe, even walking to grab a late-night Philly cheesesteak after 11pm on a Saturday. It was a little chilly, but still such a fun way to experience the neighborhood.
