Below par: the morning continental breakfast is served in a historic dining room -- but there was hardly enough space on the credenza for the food, plates were tiny and the selection was very limited. If this got improved a bit, it would be a 5-star experience.

This is a lovingly maintained historic hotel! The room was spotless, the bed was super-comfortable and the noise level is very low. Also, the water pressure is great and we loved the heated towel rack! Also, thank you so much to Jim at the front desk - he was awesome and so nice and friendly!

Looking forward to going back to the Morris House. This boutique hotel is perfectly located near the hospitals and downtown Philadelphia. Scott the manager on duty on Tuesdays and Wednesdays went out of his way to take care of us. From the freshly baked cookies that are set out at 3pm with tea and coffee to wonderful breakfast served in the dinning room every morning, this space is lovely. Our room was spotless, with two thick robes, and all the amenities. Mattress was very comfortable. Really cannot say enough nice things about this gem of a hotel.

Quaint little B&B near Wills Eye Hospital (perfect for a stay after you’ve had surgery). Linda provided a great tour full of historical highlights. Our favorite part was the freshly baked cookies for afternoon “tea”. (The cranberry oatmeal were superb). The house was preserved very well and they even give you a bronze key to get in/out of your room. Would definitely stay again!!
