Leipzig Airport? It’s a 15 minute drive. However, a Taxi will cost you €40-50. Getting taxi’s from the hotel is difficult, as taxi’s don’t want to come out to Wiedemar. You can get a bus and a train but it’ll take an hour to get into Leipzig. The hotel was sparse in both amenities and service. When asking the receptionist to call a cab for me, was met with a reply of “We can’t do that”. With no further explanation. There is nothing (and I mean nothing) around there that is useful. No shops or restaurants within walking distance.

Good sized room

Good sized room for family of three, although a bit dated, but serviceable. Could do with an update. Lots of free parking. Shower was ok. Only issue for us was that there was no a/c that we could see or set, and we felt room was too warm for us so we had to open the window at night. However, the room had motorised shutter blinds so the cooler air could flow in and thus we still felt secure. Breakfast was ok, could have done with a larger hot selection. Staff friendly and helpful which was most important. We also had supper there which was quite good and seemed ok in terms of hotel prices.

Familie på 4 skulle overnatte på tur fra Kroatien til Danmark. Fint hotel til en meget fin pris. Okay morgenmad og venligt personale. Lå dejlig tæt på motorvejen, så vi var hurtigt på vej hjem om morgenen efter en hurtig morgenmad. Vi var tilfredse. 😀

Wir waren dort wegen einer Messe in Leipzig. Das Hotel ist dafür super gelegen. Kostenlose Parkplätze und super ruhige Zimmern, die sehr gut ausgestattet sind. Betten sind sehr bequem.
