"The most awful place ever !!! I booked this place as it’s not far from where I live and my best friend and new husband were coming from up North to visit myself and my very sick husband who has cancer among other health issues . This place was the scruffiest most awful place I’ve ever in my 66 years of life . "Excellent place lovely breakfast"

"We got to the venue much later than we had planned, but it was a comfortable night in a nice hotel with an excellent breakfast."

"Second time staying at the Ship and it was once again excellent. Really friendly staff, lovely room with comfortable bed and pillows and the breakfast is superb. Highly recommend"

"Brilliant hotel stay there when I go to the airport and also when I go to party’s in the area."

"The hotel is undergoing a renovation at the moment, but the rooms and general areas are clean and quiet, the staff in the bar - restaurant are most accommodating, the food is cooked to order but the wait is well worth it the food produced is excellent. Defiantly recommend the food."

We also noticed a persistent buzzing noise coming from within the room throughout our stay. Please note the hotel takes a £50 deposit for potential damages on check‑in. Overall our two‑night stay was...
