Unfortunately the music from the reception area was booming all day and night so I got little to no sleep. Very disappointing when on a business trip and needing to be well rested the next day. By 11.30 pm I went to reception and asked them to turn it down. Originally I had thought it was some kind of disco from the restaurant it was so loud! "The hotel was modern, clean and had a lovely feel about it, helped by a friendly, warm welcome from the staff. My standard queen room was a good size and well-equipped. I used the gym and pool and was happy with that too. My room overlooked the train station, but despite that it was really quiet, and I appreciated how easy it was to get the train into central Cambridge. I would definitely recommend the hotel and stay again. "

"Sian, the landlady is wonderful -- friendly and extremely helpful. Hotel's.com said there are laundry facilities but this is not true. BUT Sian did our laundry for us. We stayed in the annex but no one who was mobility problems, or is tall or heavy should stay there -- it is difficult to maneuver under the low ceilings. "
