"We recently stayed at Bruce Peninsula Motel and were shocked at the level of cleanliness. The washroom was completely uncleaned — there was even a used tissue with a squashed mosquito stuck to the door, which was never removed. The overall hygiene standards were unacceptable, and it made the stay very uncomfortable. Definitely not worth the money, and I would not recommend this place to anyone."

Staff was excellent. My only concern was with poor lighting in the parking lot and I did pass that along in the morning. "You get what you pay for - a basic room. Check in was easy and the staff were nice. Cons were that the noise bleeds heavily from the road out front and the hallways. I couldn't turn off the porch light either and the light really comes through the blinds. There was also a spat between other patrons at about 1am (that can't really be blamed on the motel) but it was quite loud and kept me awake. There is no box spring either and the mattress was a bit thin so my back was a bit sore in the...

"Property was under renovation when I arrived. I wish this information could have been conveyed in advance. Lots of noise during the stay. Pool was closed. Lots of wires and things hanging in the hallway. No coffeemaker in room. Disappointing."
