"We have stayed in several top hotels in Banff and Canmore and can say a new favourite is the Banff Park Lodge. Friendly staff, clean updated rooms, wonderful private balcony, and inviting bar and restaurant. For travellers who want to experience the peaceful nature Banff is known for and for anyone looking to access a full range of shopping and tourist stops, the location means you are steps away from both. With the river a minute from the hotel, you have access to an extensive path for walks or runs, and the canoe club ramp. Rent a canoe and explore the area on the water (very fun and highly recommended). Banff Avenue and Bear Street has a plethora of shops and eateries that will fit a wide range of budgets and tastes. The Upper Hot Springs is just a short drive away, but the pool and sauna on site mean you can have the best of both worlds. Perfect for all travellers - families, couples and friends. Definitely returning. If we could give it more than five stars, we would."

"We had a great stay in Banff! The hotel was in a perfect location, close to everything and very convenient for exploring the area. The hot tub was really nice and relaxing after a long day out in the mountains. Breakfast was amazing with lots of great options and everything tasted fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!"
