Very complicated place! Parking is complicated with poor directional signage (you enter via a 1.5 car wide garage door that is clearly signed “Do not Enter.” Once inside the garage, finding the entrance to the hotel is difficult (no signage). Getting from there to a floor where rooms are involves a few stairs— not great for hauling luggage in a cramped space. They don’t have coffee in the room— they boast a “coffee service” where guests select coffee, tea, milk/cream at front desk and take that to the room. There you use a kettle, filters and little jars of java to make it from scratch. Complicated!
Suggestions: 1) properly sign the place to better match the paper map that is supposed to guide guests to rooms. 2) Ditch the high concept “coffee service” and go for a Keurig or similar unit in each rom with recyclable pods.
Beautiful, clean and large room, gorgeous view, free parking and we were given transit passes for the duration of our stay. Loved the in-room coffee service. There is some ongoing construction in and around the hotel, but it didn't affect our time there. Hotel is at a quiet end of town, and the bus stops right in front of it. Also easily walkable to the downtown core. I would stay here again, and I highly recommend staying here!
