Hyatt Regency Chicago
10/10 Excellent
"Really clean room, updated and fresh. We had a nice view of the river! Great location! Only complaint is how long the line is to check in, but it is Chicago- always tons of people everywhere. I would definitely stay here again!"
"The front staff was so welcoming and were so efficient with checking in and out. They stored our luggage until check in as we were busy. Quiet clean room"
"Love the location and the history of the place. The bellhops and parking valet were just wonderful. I was put off when we asked for an early check in for our niece arriving the next day and the desk clerk found a room that was already cleaned and made the arrangement. She did n ot tell me that it would be an extra $25 which I found out when we checked our niece in. Too late!
The ice machine on our floor 22 was broken so we had to go to the 17th floor for ice. Not horrible but inconvenient."
"Excellent location. Staff very nice. Room big and bed very comfortable. But noisy.
As is all of Chicago.
Trying to sell in room soap products for exorbitant prices tachy as hell.
Rooftop lounge had sadly very short hours and limited open days. Seems a shame to waste such an opportunity."
"Pros - We had a suite with our adult daughter and there was plenty of room. The hotel wasn't fancy but was clean and staff was friendly. The area was very walkable. We parked right below our window and never moved our truck until checkout. There is a Whole Foods, Jewel, and Walgreens less than 1 mile easy walk and there are bikes and scooters to rent on the way too. Plenty of restaurants in that area too. Recommend Ahuevo in front of hotel for breakfast - amazing breakfast burritos and they even had a vegan option.
Cons - Parking was $$$$ at $65/day. We used spot hero to find a lot right in front of the hotel for $55 total, pulled in, and saw multiple piles of broken windows. So we left, canceled the spot hero, and used the hotel parking. The hotel isn't in the middle of all the action, which means either a walk or a ride but we were OK with that."
"This is my second time staying here, although the air went out on our first night. It was up and running quickly and we were accommodated and kept up to date with everything. Great location, staff and overall experience"
