Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa
8/10 Good
"Our room was a bit dated but very clean and kitchenette was well appointed. It would be helpful to have a little fold out table to eat on or even a few side tables or tv trays as you had to eat on your lap. Pool was great and so was the gym. Just a few nitpicks things- the gym had no ac or fans and was 26 degrees Celsius. The jacuzzi jets weren’t working properly. But overall it was a nice hotel and thankfully quieter than ones in the middle of the village."
Whistler Cascade Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Easy and convenient place to stay in whistler."
Four Seasons Resort Whistler
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful property Large spacious rooms Attentive staff"
Fairmont Chateau Whistler
8/10 Good
"Good, convenient location, close to shopping and restaurants. Their shuttle service is very convenient, takes you to three or four stops in the town, about every 15 minutes. Their café, Portobello, good for morning coffee and quick breakfast, although they sell out of the popular items early in the morning. They also have coffee and tea service in the room. The Mallard Lounge is a fun place to hang out in the evenings. Live music, and food available. Good bar too, with excellent service. Our room was comfortable, although dated. The carpet looks a bit worn out as does the furniture. The lighting is very muted, apparently a Canada requirement? The light bulbs are dim, with no overhead light, the room stays dark, with dark furniture. Lots of shelves and roomy closet. Bathroom is ok size, shower is teeny tiny. There is a bathtub. Towels are decent, although the hand towels are thin and worn out. Housekeeping is hit or miss. First day, they didn’t clean the room, even with us gone for over five hours. Said they were too busy getting rooms ready for future guests. We did request the cleaning when we left in the morning. But they should also take care of current guests. They apologized and sent a fruit basket and Prosecco as a further apology which we appreciated. This is a huge resort, with many rooms. Lots of traffic, so the rooms take a beating. All in all, good staff, decent amenities."
