"The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean enough. but the floor was dusty. I still don't get why Americans wear shoes in the room. There was also an already drunk water bottle in the fridge. The price was great for the room. We got a room in the courtyard, not the one near the ocean. The TV screen was big. The room in general was well equipped and maintained. The AC was new. The ice machine was in a walking distance."

"Room was clean, beds were very comfortable, 'kitchenette' area was great, convenient to shopping and other activities and parts of the outer banks. It was nice to have the pool on a very windy & hot day. One small concern was that the bathtub was a little slippery to step into."

"Love the old Nags Head. Vintage stay!"

"charming old inn just what we like not fancy full of charm close to the beach good lite breakfast"

"Great deck to enjoy to the view ocean anytime time of the day even if you have a city view room"

"Great location and nice tv."

"We arrived after the Nor’easter storm. Sand completely covered the walk to the beach like 12 inches of sand they never shoveled the wooden walk. The hose to rinse off with was also under the sand. There was trash at the back porch that was not picked up. We stayed 5 days so we thought they would have started to clean up. The room was ok. Had items in bathroom floor when we arrived?"

"every thing was very nice"

"Complimentary wine and cheese 3-5pm. Nice place. Staff is very friendly."

"Only gripe was a consistent sewage smell in the parking lot by main entrance."

"I always like to stay here at TownPlace Suites when I come to the outer Banks. I love staying here whether its the studio suites or 1 bedroom suite. Everything is good there. I like the fact there is a kitchen area. The breakfast is good. The kitchen staff are always friendly."

"Nice rooms for a good price. I'll stay here again."

"“Water view” is misleading - I assumed we were in the back overlooking the sound. No. We saw the parking lot, the 4 lane road, then a sliver of water. The blinds in our room do not cover the entire window edge to edge. Coffee maker- no cups. No soap in the dispenser at the sink."
