This was a jem of a find couldn't fault the cleanliness of the room and the hotel itself. The owners and their staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was excellent and a good choice. Off road parking was good and on their property. It's ideally situated near the town and beach with about a 15 minute walk. We would definitely stay here again without a doubt and would highly recommend this hotel.

Great stay in Weymouth

An excellent Guest House run by Tim & Theresa and one of the best we have stayed in. They only cater for breakfast which we knew about and the breakfast was really exceptional. About 5 minutes from the beach and parkink was provided. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Gem of a place

A real Gem of a family run BnB. Tim and Teresa the hosts have thought long and hard about what guests could need and so everything is perfect. Tim must be an ex chef as the breakfast menu is first class and cooked to order. Location is close to the Weymouth action and far enough away to avoid noise. If you’re wanting a place to enjoy Weymouth and the area, this is a great choice.

The hosts were very welcoming, the room spotless and the range of items for breakfast was great, if I were being really picky croissants would be great too. We didn’t use it but the honesty bar was a great thing too, and just a short walk to the sea front. If we go back to Weymouth, I would definitely book here again.

Fantastic little gem of B&B

Sometimes when reviewing a stay it’s easy to say everything is fab, well with Oaklands it is. From the meet & greet until the moment we departed the service and “nothing is too much trouble” attitude of Tim and Teresa shone through. We will be returning. Fabulous Guest House

Fantastic place to stay! Very clean and well maintained period property with an interesting history! Our room was also very clean, with a good shower in the en-suite bathroom. There are good tea/coffee making facilities in the room, even a mini-fridge for keeping everything fresh. Everything was replenished daily, even the lovely selection of biscuits! Breakfast was superb and all included in the price. There was good selection of fruit, yogurt and serials plus a fantastic full English breakfast or special of the day to choose from… all done with eggs however you want them! The Eggs Benedict with salmon (eggs royal) was fabulous! The hosts Tim and Teresa, and the staff, were very friendly and welcoming throughout, which helped make our holiday in Weymouth a wonderful and memorable one! We will definitely be visiting again!

An absolute gem in Weymouth

Stayed two nights over the weekend and would 100% recommend Oaklands Guesthouse to everyone thinking of booking a trip. We got a lovely welcome from the owners, Tim and Teresa, when we arrived and they had already sent a courtesy text earlier in the day, before we had set out, to let us know our room was ready for check in. The building and our room were really lovely and had a boutique hotel feel to it. There has clearly been a lot of hard work put in to making this a stunning place to stay. A short 10 minute walk and you are right on the seafront, so this was a perfect location for easy access to the heart of Weymouth and the beach. Breakfast was excellent with the usual cereal, fruit, juices along with a full English or a special of the day. The food was beautifully presented and of a really high quality, especially the cooked breakfasts. Don't be confused by this being called a guesthouse, it is much more than that and if we are ever back in Weymouth this will be where we will want to stay.

Awesome B and B

Oakland's guest house is the nicest B and B we have ever stayed in. From the minute you walk through the front door you are welcomed by Tim and Teresa who are extremely friendly. The room we stayed in was spacious, very clean and very well decorated. We were provided tea and coffee making facilities, fresh milk and drinking water in the mini fridge in our room. The toilet and ensuite rooms were also tastefully decorated. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices including full English, fruit,cerials,fruit juices,toast and tea and coffee. It was a good location, close to the sea front, without the disadvantage of not being disturbed by the noise of a busy esplanade. Nothing was too much for our hosts and we would definitely recommended Oaklands B and B to anyone who wanted that little bit extra and more from a B and B. 10 out if 10. Thankyou Tim and Teresa.
