"A very good hotel with very helpful desk staff. However, we had asked for twin beds and arrived to find them pushed together as one bed. Also the bedside tables were visibly dusty. The toilet needed to be flushed more than once to do its job."

"Used to regularly stay at Hare & Hounds, but hadn't stayed for 5 years as felt that the quality of the food service etc. had declined. Happy to say things were much improved on our recent visit. Food in the restaurant"

"Ive stayed in nicer rooms , ive ate in nicer bars but ultimately its the people that make a hotel. And the people at wilde thyme and honey are fantastic. A special shout out to Izy who couldn't do enough to help. The rooms are cosy and warm with thoughtful touches like pillow spray and a spot of sloe gin which was beautiful, the on site restaurant/ pub was lovely with a great drinks selection. The pantry is a useful addition for extra bits that you may need during your stay. One genuine gripe is that the car park is dangerously dark after dark. There is no lighting at all. All in all it was great. I would return for sure."
