"Stayed in this hotel for my kids birthday. Got a room with a big bathtub only to find a layer of what looked like pubic hair spread across it. Disgusting. The floor in the room was also sticky in some spots and dust lined the bed frame. Don’t think they actually took the time to clean. Informed the front desk and she “assured us” that “she’ll take care of this”. Didn’t hear anything further. I don’t usually write reviews of hotels but this one felt worthy of a review. "

"This is our second stay here and it has been great both times. We really enjoyed sitting on the front next to a fire watching the sunset. The amenities and location are great. They really focus on the little details to make it a special stay."

"This property is family owned, not a national corporate chain. The front desk is always kind, friendly, courteous, and genuine. A rare find. I’m restoring a house near by, stay here two or more nights each week, and don’t even shop anymore. These guys are awesome."

"These beautiful grounds and lodgings quickly became a destination resort for us. We were content to relax in the privacy of the exquisite gardens in silence. The hosts were so considerate; after serving a delicious home cooked breakfast they just retreated and we were alone to enjoy the remainder of the day. Our room, and the rest of the house, was tastefully decorated and immaculate. Rooms and bathrooms appeared to be newly remodeled. We highly recommend and look forward to our return. Thank you "
