"We didn’t get off to the best start as arrived to find a notice on the pub door to say that there was no power and pub was shut! Had to call a number to book in, young man arrived and assured us that our rooms were unaffected and that breakfast would be provided in the morning. "The pub is friendly with good food and staff. The separate block which houses the bedrooms looks boring but the bedrooms inside are incredibly beautiful. I enjoyed underfloor heating in the bathroom and the lovely views of the countryside. "
