A lovely village in Suffolk easy reach of towns and points of interest
Really friendly pub with great quality food
Dogs made to feel welcome
No secure area so they could be off the lead though so make sure you are aware of that
Food a little pricey but freshly cooked
A lovely one night stay. A couple of things I think to improve on. 1. Have the hot tub ready for guests to get in once they arrive. We waited an hour & a half to heat before it was warm enough. 2. A mini fridge in the room to keep drinks cold & milk rather than have to collect from the restaurant. Lastly, not sure there is any need for the green fire exit lights above the doors in a small room. Lit the room up at night which affected our sleep. On a positive, staff all so friendly & accommodating, food was excellent & a vast selection of drinks. Will definitely be going back!
nice new cottages, high standards for UK.Enough parking space
Missing: shampoo/body wash in the bath ( only shower)
no hair dryer in the reeom ( Ash )
breakfst served as of 8.30 which is inconvenient
for business travellers. Paid but skipped .
Lovely village and beautifully designed pub. Service very poor - understaffed and the staff who are there are run ragged. Therefore food variable depending on whether served promptly and still hot, ghastly over cooked streaky bacon at breakfast time, one person covering all breakfast service including making all the coffees means you need to leave enough time.
Lovely setting hopefully with more staff fully trained it will improve the experience for all.
