"We had a good stay at Lord Nelson. The hotel is beautiful and the room was clean. Hotel restaurant and bar had great food and drinks! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The standard queen bed rooms are quite small and felt crowded with 2 people and 2 suitcases, but it wasn’t too bad for a few nights. Our only real issue was the noise. We could hear guests in other rooms talking at a low volume, in the hallways, and cleaning staff. I understand that happens at hotels, but this one was particularly noisy. Otherwise, great stay!"

"The Barrington Hotel is in an excellent location. You can easily walk and enjoy Halifax. The covered pedway is wonderful. Very limited parking in front of hotel for drop off and pick up requiring drive around city multiple times. No parking at hotel. Parking available next door but significant cost on top of increased summer cost of hotels in Halifax. That said in and out access in parking garage was nice!"
