"I recently stayed for a night and had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had such great character—especially loved the mezzanine bedroom. The service was spot on, with friendly staff greeting us warmly and checking in during our meals. Food and drink were fantastic too, making it a memorable visit overall. I can't wait to come back!"
"Excellent check in by Matt, enabled us to check in early and took all our bags up to the room for us. Room was clean and comfortable and we couldn't hear any noise from the bar downstairs. Excellent location opposite the train station and all local amenities on the doorstop.
Unfortunately the live act that was on was singing IRA Support songs and when my partner objected and complained we were asked to leave the bar. The singer did admit that he was wrong and had caused us being told to leave"
"The hotel is being renovated but that didnt spoil our stay the staff were all friendly and the bar and restaurant area were stunning. Stayed in room 108 which had two large windows with amazing views."
"Return visit like the area about 20-25 mins walk downhill to Whitby harbour area. Bus stop by school or Sainsburys minutes away.
Bedrooms clean and big for 2 people. Staff very friendly and helpful. Car parking free and if u forgot anything there is a sainsburys fee mins walk away
Breakfast has various choices to suit different appetite too and family friendly. Would return again"

"Room in the Windmill was clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Loved being able to have a deep luxurious bath... so relaxing after being out in Whitby and walking most of the day Staff were welcoming and very accommodating. Got asked every morning if we needed anything doing or replacing in the room. Breakfasts and evening meals were amazing, with lots of choice and using locally resourced produce. Need to have a good appetite as portions were more than ample. Sunday lunch was...
