"We had a terrible start to our stay. The room we were in smelt of sewage. We asked to move but there wasn't a room available until the next day. We were provided with an air freshener to help. We were moved but not until 3pm. This meant we had to shower in the smell which wasn't pleasant. Unfortunately, we were not offered a discount but free breakfast. We don't eat breakfast so it wasn't very helpful for us. Some form of discount would have been very helpful for a night of an unpleasant smell."

"The stairs in the room to access the three beds were too steep and slippery. There was blood on the bannister - so clearly someone has had an accident there!
Hotel was close to the city centre, about 10 mins walk. Underground car park nearby for 17 euros all day."

"Great location, quaint property, unfortunately no air conditioning, the fan was helpful but didn’t cool room down. Lots of stairs so keeps you fit. Staff not around after 5pm til next morning, but no problems with self check in.
We parked at suggested free parking (5 mins away)"

"The staff were excellent and really helpful and kind.
The room was spacious and bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was tired with a loose toilet seat and towel rail and the light was a tad temperamental.
I think it would be beneficial for there to be an additional coffee machine or access to a kettle within the rooms, as the queue for coffee was substantial at breakfast time. Overall I would return to this property as we really enjoyed he location, the atmosphere and the friendly staff."

"Great hotel overall. Modern decor, very clean throughout. Room was spacious and clean. No instructions on how to work the heating/air-con so had to ask at reception. Amazing breakfast, anything you can think of and constantly checked and replenished. Central location and close to the train station. Car park underneath hotel but it is extremely tight. Great communication via email before stay, replied within minutes. Would stay here again."

"Very unpleasant experience! The key sensor for our room door did not work. First it did not lock, then it did not open - we were left outside of our room at midnight and we had to wait until they called a locksmith which was over an hour. Then we had to checkout and were not alllowed a late check out. I think they could’ve offered some type of compensation, change our room or at least free breakfast. Not even an apology at checkout - it was as if we were expected to deal with it. For a 5 star...
