"The property far exceeded our expectations, clean, tidy and warm, it is located in a quiet location on the grounds away from the main house any you feel like your totally self contained. The owner lets you be, and sent just a couple of courteous emails in case we wanted things like change of towels. the property is only about 7min drive to the centre of Canterbury. "

"The room was very warm and comfortable with tea, coffe, bottled water and biscuits. Check in was seemless. Beautiful bar area with cocktail happy hour 6 to 7pm and free cheese and biscuits. Breakfast was excellent eith friendly attentive staff. Would definitely stay here again and strongly recommend. Thanks for a wonderful stay 😊"

"The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Was a little disappointed to be charged for parking, this seemed a little unnecessary given the location and felt like just a way to extract more money from guests. Given the location almost all guests would have to have driven so it would be clearer to include the full costs in one hotel price than have hidden costs as soon as you arrive. "

"It was all so simple, the code was sent through via email for the lock box which contained a fob to get in the main door and key for the bedroom door. Claire was very helpful when we arrived. The rooms are lovely and spacious, comfy bed too! Breakfast was a continental spread and lovely start to the morning, the staff member was very courteous and friendly. All in all a good stay - thank you Bat & ball Xx"
